PS that would have to be one helluva good croissant!!! Ignore the eejits. Good God if you can’t indulge in some junk food and sweet treats on your honeymoon then when can you?!! So glad you and Paul went all in and it kind of feels full circle as I remember you saying that on your first date Paul was really impressed at the amount of food you ate! Start as you mean to go on I say x

We have all enjoyed being on this crusade with you from the 'highs' of Hadestown to the lows of the Brownie. It has indeed been a special 10 days and your documentation of it has been both tasty and delicious, like the perfect blend of a well seasoned dish infact. I for one, am glad the 'ultimate brownie in NYC' deserves its own chapter - although it appears it may be a brief one. Time now for you both to be together as Mr & Mr - the recipe for a full and happy life.

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous NY nuptials and allowing us to accompany you both as you sampled so much of what the Big Apple has to offer - from the many culinary highs and lows to the best of Broadway. Have loved the daily diaries in all their glorious gastronomic detail. You’ve provided plenty food for thought and really inspired me to take a trip there myself one day - if only to sample the pastrami sandwiches and the pistachio pastries! But you’re right - home is not a place but a feeling. Your feet may leave somewhere special but your heart never does.

As a quiet homebody, people are often surprised when I say that New York is one of my favourite places in the world. There's something about it that just enchants me, and despite multiple trips there, I've yet to fall out of love with it.

Thank you for sharing your adventure, and congratulations to you both ❤️

I have loved every moment that you have shared of your NYC trip. I totally get the wanting to go and move there, yet also knowing that home is your everything. But how lucky are we to have NYC to run to every now and then. I’m going back hopefully later this year and will definitely hunt out some of those bakeries. That corn cake sounds amazing! Pleeeeease work out a recipe for it. Having been following your journey from bake off to now, it’s really lovely seeing you thrive in who you are. Congratulations to you and your hubby on your wedding too xx

Love the cosy warm feeling you got from the apple pie. I didn’t grow up eating it either, but it’s just pure comfort, somehow.

I think it’s part of human nature when you really enjoy a holiday to think of living there. Sign of a good holiday, I think anyhow 😊

No place like home though. Hope you’ve both had a wonderful holiday and honeymoon, if definitely sounds and looks like you did. Xx

I’m a veggie and wouldn’t eat half of the stuff you’ve been knocking back, but my God it looks fantastic and I’ve loved reading about them all (plus seeing the insta visuals! ) I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying indulging yourselves and hope the keyboard warriors haven’t dulled your sugar sprinkle sparkles ⭐️ 👏
